The Contour Mentorship Program

The Contour Mentorship Program is a structured, three-tiered development pathway designed to support aspiring and newly certified Pilates instructors as they grow into confident, capable teachers. Whether you're just beginning your certification journey or stepping into your first teaching role, our program offers hands-on experience, professional guidance, and a supportive community. Through a combination of observation hours, practice teaching, structured feedback, paid teaching opportunities, and ongoing mentorship, Contour provides a real-world bridge between formal training and independent instruction. Our goal is to cultivate thoughtful, skilled instructors who are deeply rooted in the principles of Pilates and ready to thrive in a professional studio environment.

Our Three Tiers of Mentorship

Level I
Studio Immersion

The Studio Immersion is designed for students currently enrolled in a comprehensive Pilates certification who want real-world experience alongside their studies. This 6-month program offers guided practice, observation opportunities, and structured mentorship in a professional studio setting. It’s the perfect complement to your training, helping you build confidence, context, and community as you grow into your role as a future instructor.

Level II
Apprenticeship

The Apprenticeship is for students who have completed all modules of their comprehensive Pilates certification and are ready to begin teaching. This 6-month program blends hands-on teaching experience with structured mentorship, giving you the chance to lead classes, refine your skills, and receive direct feedback. It’s the ideal bridge between certification and professional teaching, supporting your growth into a confident, capable instructor.

Level III
Continued Mentorship

The Continued Mentorship track is for certified Pilates instructors who are ready to deepen their teaching practice inside a working studio. This six-month program combines ongoing mentorship with continued professional development, group classes, workshops, and access to a community of working instructors. It's a supportive pathway to refine your teaching voice, build confidence, and thrive as an independent teacher.
